For a full-tower photograph, leave room around the structure and let the person be a smaller part of the setting. For a portrait, bring them closer and accept that some of the tower may fall outside the frame.
Use a current map and permitted pedestrian positions when choosing between views around the tower. A distant viewpoint can be a good place for a photograph without being inside the app’s supported unlock area.
If you have a tower booking, protect its arrival time and security checks. Take a small set of photos before or after rather than making a long portrait session compete with the visit.

Can I unlock the Eiffel Tower from any viewpoint where I can see it?
No. Visibility is not the location check. Open the Eiffel Tower Landmark in the app and complete Unlock inside its supported area; a distant photograph or Trocadéro view does not substitute.
Does an Experience include going up the tower?
No. Tower admission, access, and security arrangements are handled by the venue. An Unlocked Experience creates a private generated Memory after a successful Landmark location check.
Must I visit at blue hour to choose Tower Blue Hour?
No. The name describes a generated creative direction. First complete the physical-presence unlock, then choose an available Experience and create your Memory when you have time.
