Is the travel map maker free?
Yes. Marking countries and cities, saving your link, and every image size are free, with no account and no watermark.
How do I save my map?
Your link is your save. Every mark is encoded in the URL, so bookmark it or copy it anywhere to reopen the same map. On this device we also keep a local copy until you clear your map. Save the link to return on another device.
What can I download?
Three PNG sizes: Story (1080×1920) with clear space for Instagram and Snapchat interface zones, Post (1080×1350), and Wide (1200×630) for links and previews.
How many countries are on the map?
The map covers 174 countries and territories, including 165 UN member states. Use search for small countries; some microstates are not included in this map’s geographic dataset.
How is this different from the Unlocked app?
This map is marked by hand — anyone can claim anywhere. The app's Passport is earned in person: your phone verifies you are really at a Landmark, and the badge is permanently yours.
Do you track my location to make this map?
No. The map maker runs entirely in your browser. Your selections stay in your browser and in the link you choose to share. This page never asks for your location.
