How Unlocked works in Amsterdam.

Where can I use Unlocked in Amsterdam?

Seven places in central Amsterdam and the Museum Quarter. Zaanse Schans, Keukenhof and other regional destinations are outside this collection. The seven Landmarks are Rijksmuseum, Royal Palace Amsterdam, Magere Brug, NEMO Science Museum, Westerkerk, Amsterdam Centraal, De Waag. Each needs its own nearby location check.

When does Unlocked check my location?

A current location sample is checked when you choose Unlock at a supported Landmark. Continuous background tracking is not required.

Can I create the Memory after I leave?

Yes. A server-verified Landmark unlock is permanent. You can return to its Experiences later; venue admission and photography permissions are separate.

What does the welcome credit do?

Your first GPS-verified Landmark unlock grants one welcome credit for your first Memory. Collecting and sharing badges does not use credits.
