Travel records should be earned.
Unlocked started from a small frustration: the places we actually visit end up buried in a camera roll, while the internet fills with photos people never took and trips they never took. We wanted the opposite — a travel Passport that can only be filled by going somewhere, and a record you would be happy to keep.

A Passport for places you have truly been.
Visit one of 210 supported Landmarks — across Barcelona, Lisbon, Montreal, Paris, Chongqing, Bali, Marrakech, Cairo, Stockholm, Rome, Tokyo, New York, London, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Kyoto, Seoul, Bangkok, Prague, Dubai, Mexico City, Santorini, Phuket, Cancun, Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Delhi, Mumbai, Rabat, and Baku— verify your arrival with a single location check, and its illustrated badge joins your Passport permanently, with the date. Keep building it city by city. Share cards, recaps, or a public Passport link whenever you feel like it, all free.
For the places that matter most, each Landmark also carries three curated photographic Experiences: choose one after your visit and Unlocked creates a private, clearly-labeled Memory of you there. It is optional, it uses a credit, and the first one is on us.

Four principles, no exceptions.

Presence is the point.
Every badge starts with a real visit, verified once at the place itself. A travel record you did not earn is not a record — it is a costume. Unlocked has no way to fake arrival, and that is its best feature.

Private until you decide.
Your Passport, reference photos, and Memories are private by default. There is no public feed and no follower count. Sharing is a deliberate act — a card, a recap, or a public link that shows only what you selected.

Honest about the generated.
Optional photo Memories are clearly labeled as generated images, everywhere they appear. We would rather under-claim than blur the line between a photograph and an interpretation.

Calm by design.
No streaks, no leaderboards, no notifications begging for attention. The app is a companion for your travels, not another stage to perform on. Open it when you arrive; put it away when you are done.
