Where do I unlock Barceloneta?
Choose Unlock inside the supported area around the beach and waterfront. The unlock checks your presence near the seafront, not a particular spot on the sand.
Do I need to swim or bring beach gear?
No. The unlock happens on the promenade or beach, and every Experience works from a normal photo of yourself. Swim, stroll, or just pass through—presence is the only requirement.
Is Barceloneta busy?
In summer, very. Mornings are calmest, and the wide beach means you can usually find room. Crowds never affect the unlock; the location check works whether the beach is empty or full.
