Seafront to the Eixample
This easy Barcelona walk crosses the city from the beach to the Eixample without ever feeling like a march. Start on the Barceloneta promenade, thread the Gothic Quarter's lanes, and surface at the Arc de Triomf before finishing on Passeig de Gràcia at Casa Batlló. It is the shortest of the Barcelona tracks, almost entirely flat, and every stop stands on free public ground — only interior visits, such as Casa Batlló's museum, are ticketed.

How long does the Barcelona seafront walk take?
Plan roughly half a day with stops. The walking itself is under an hour — the route is flat and mostly car-free — and the rest of the time goes to the beach, the old city, and the two avenue landmarks.
Is the Gothic Quarter section confusing?
Deliberately so — the lanes are the attraction. Navigation apps work fine, and the route leaves the quarter at the Passeig de Lluís Companys promenade, one of the easiest landmarks in the city to find.
What does this track cost?
