Kondiaronk is the lookout by Mount Royal Chalet. Check the route you intend to use, its current surface conditions, and your return plan before organizing the visit around a particular photograph.
At the terrace, take a skyline frame first, then bring your companion closer for a portrait. A face can get lost when you try to include the entire city behind it. Let the two pictures serve different purposes.
If haze softens the distance, look for a simpler foreground composition. If wind, rain, or cold makes the stop uncomfortable, shorten it. A creative keepsake can wait; you do not need to remain at the lookout until the weather matches a preview.
