Hongyadong
Start with a broad view showing how the timber galleries and tiled eaves rise above the riverfront. Check your approach level before following a saved viewpoint. For a portrait, simplify the architectural backdrop; if the lights are on, compare their brightness with the light on the person.

Jiefangbei
Look back across the pedestrian square to place the clock-topped monument beneath the surrounding towers. Move closer if clock detail matters more than skyline scale. Keep walkways clear, follow crossing signals, and move with the crowd. In the evening, check that bright screens do not overwhelm your portrait.

What should I check before walking between the Landmarks?
Confirm the current pedestrian route and access conditions, especially between Chaotianmen Square and Hongyadong. Check which level your approach reaches before following a saved viewpoint. Head specifically for Chaotianmen Square, rather than another place sharing the Chaotianmen name.
Can I Unlock a badge from a distant viewpoint or passing train?
A photograph or distant view does not replace the supported-area location check. At Hongyadong, a view from across the river is not enough to establish arrival. At Liziba, use the arrival area around the public viewing area, not another overlook or a passing train.
Does this Experience include interior access or transport?
Unlocked includes no Liziba timetable or ticket, and the Great Hall’s interior follows its own visiting schedule. People’s Square is public, but ceremonies or seasonal events may affect where you can stand. Follow current barriers, staff guidance, and local transit information.
