Consider an illustrative visit on an overcast afternoon. You expected warm light across a facade, but the sky stays grey. You can spend the stop checking whether the clouds are moving, or you can begin looking at the shape and detail that are visible in front of you.
The second choice does not require pretending the weather is ideal. You can be disappointed with the conditions for a photograph and still be glad you made the journey.
Let the actual day have its own character
A place can reward attention in ways that do not match the image you arrived expecting. Look at the materials, the proportions, or how the landmark meets its surroundings. If one view does little for you, another permitted viewpoint may reveal something more interesting.
This is a preference about how to spend a visit, not a claim that bad weather improves travel. Comfort matters, and you may reasonably decide to shorten the stop. You also do not need to return at a different hour just to make the earlier visit count.

An Experience offers a curated photographic direction for that landmark. Review its preview, provide a photo of yourself, and create a Memory using the required credits. The available choices may offer a mood you like without requiring you to wait on site for particular light.
The result is AI-created. It is not a weather correction applied to documentary evidence, and it should not be presented as an untouched camera photograph from that afternoon. Keep an original image if you want to preserve how the visit actually looked.

Decide whether another visit is something you want
There are good reasons to return to a landmark: curiosity, a different view, or simply wanting more time. Returning specifically to make a photograph can also be a good reason if it is something you enjoy.
What we want to remove is the obligation to return because your personal portrait was left unresolved. Once your unlock succeeds, you can create from the landmark’s available Experiences later, with credits. You do not need another presence check just because you left image-making for the evening.
Let the real day remain in your travel story, including its ordinary sky. You can choose a creative interpretation afterward. While you are there, the place itself is still worth looking at.
