How Unlocked works
Where can I use Unlocked?

Unlocked has 210 supported Landmarks across 30 destinations: Amsterdam, Baku, Bali, Bangkok, Barcelona, Cairo, Cancun, Chongqing, Delhi, Dubai, Istanbul, Kyoto, Lisbon, London, Marrakech, Mexico City, Miami, Montreal, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Phuket, Prague, Rabat, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Santorini, Seoul, Stockholm, and Tokyo. Browse a destination guide for the exact places included. Unlocks require arrival at an individual supported Landmark; being elsewhere in the destination is not enough.

Is Unlocked free?

Exploring destinations, collecting Landmark badges, and sharing your travel Passport are free. No subscription is required. Photo Memories are optional and use credits. Your first GPS-verified Landmark unlock includes one welcome credit; additional credits are one-time in-app purchases.

Can I get Unlocked on Android or iPhone?

Available now on iPhone and Android. Use the store links above to download the app.

Can I explore before I travel?

Yes. Browse destination and Landmark guides before your trip. To collect a badge, visit that Landmark in person and choose Unlock in the app. Unlocked checks your location to verify your arrival; it does not continuously track your route in the background.
