Drive or take a taxi to El Meco to begin the morning north of central Cancún. Follow the marked visitor path for a view of the stepped Maya temple against surrounding trees. Admission and visitor routes are separate; do not treat the structure as a climbing opportunity.

No. This itinerary is designed around a drive or taxi ride between every Landmark, from the mainland stops through the centro and into the Hotel Zone. Use designated paths and public shores once you arrive.
How do I confirm an Unlock at each Landmark?
Check the Landmark map and confirm your Unlock while nearby at each stop. A distant view does not establish arrival, and archaeological admission and visitor routes remain separate from your Unlock.
Do I need to swim or climb the ruins?
Neither is needed for this itinerary. Stay on marked archaeological paths without climbing structures or standing on masonry. At Playa Delfines, use the designated public viewpoint or shore and follow current beach flags and lifeguard guidance.
